5 Elements Monterone Resort Day Spa

I have to admit, I was excited when I received an invite to the opening of Austin’s newest premier medical spa, 5 elements wellness and beauty medi day spa. There is nothing better than an exciting event in Austin, especially when it’s in a place as fabulous as this. From the moment we arrived until the end of the evening, the party was first-rate, which leads me to believe that the services provided there will be just as remarkable.

The evening was hosted by Thomas Manning, and co-hosted by the dashing William Jackson, Tim Valderrama, and Ms. Angela Strickland, with designer Ross Bennett as the Special Guest. Bennett was beyond charming to meet and we chatted about his new studio location. I’m glad that I didn’t know about his uncanny ability of being able to guess a woman’s size within an inch, but I wouldn’t have cared. Anyone who knows me will tell you that I’m not shy when it comes to conversation (which comes in handy at parties).

5 elements is a unique spa with services that run from day spa facials and medi treatments to salon hair and nail services. It has everything you could want. The mission of the spa is based on the 5 elements of fire, earth, metal, water and wood; and combines the best of both European and Asian techniques. I can’t wait to book an appointment.

Valet services were provided by Uptown Valet. I really wished I would have gotten the name of the sweet young man that got my car. Of course, I could not find my ticket and he was nice enough to get me on the road with little hassle. It doesn’t hurt to have a Gucci wiener dog on my key ring, either.

God bless Gucci and God bless dachshunds. They make my life a happy one.
