Next time you are thinking of throwing in the towel, remember this:
”Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.” Thomas Edison
I like this quote because I’m the type of person who wants to give up too easily. It’s too hard, I’m too tired, etc. I always have an excuse to not do what I say I want to do. It’s different if you change your mind, but the only way to get what you want is to aim for it and proceed with a plan. The only person you have to worry about disappointing is yourself. If you are thinking about starting something new then go get it. Good luck:)
Think about this, when the lead role was being cast for the 1998 remake of The Parent Trap, this girl lost the part to…
this girl…

What an excellent reminder. I know most people think that people who have succeeded have an easy life. But most of them? Work HARD.
My girls were little when Parent Trap came out. (Remember when you had to watch the same movie over and over and over?) I was so releaved to watch a child actor who had talent! The music was good too so I really loved the movie. I admit, I am still pulling for her – You said never give up – and I will continue to hope. At this point, I don’t know if she would have the brain cells left to act but it would be nice to know that she is living in peace somewhere.
I totally agree. Dina and Michael should be doing time with her. I hope she comes back from the dark side because she is a talented actress. Maybe she will. America loves a comeback. Look at my fave actor Robert Downey, Jr. In 2006 he was playing the evil doctor in The Shaggy Dog and look at him now. Iron Man and Sherlock Holmes.
Before she let her life get away from her, she was a talented actress. Then she grew up and had nobody in her life able to set…and more importantly, ENFORCE…boundaries to civilized behavior.
I still love her acting in The Parent Trap.
